A small group of members visited NSW Parliament House On Thursday 18th March 2021 to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. We thank Hon. Gareth Ward (NSW Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services) for hosting the event and for giving us the opportunity to speak with government representatives to help advance the interests of people with Down syndrome and their families.

And a big thank you to our members who spoke passionately and eloquently on issues such as pre-natal support and informed choices, housing and aging and as a voice of Down syndrome.

Our new strategic plan was also officially launched by board member Emily Caska. A copy is available to view here: https://bit.ly/3eOzB6f
