Join DSQ Kids in Brisbane for a fun day out!
DSQ Kids is a brand-new program from Down Syndrome Queensland. An opportunity for primary school aged children to meet new friends their age, get active and develop social skills in a new environment. If you have a child aged 5-11 with Down syndrome and would like them to be a part of a group all about having fun, with opportunities to develop confidence and build independence, then this is for them. Half of the event will be therapy based activities designed by our student Occupational Therapist. Content will be different each month and aims to work on co-ordination, muscle building, visual tracking and fine motor skills. The other half of the time will be free play as an opportunity to catch up with friends, make new ones and to develop important social skills.

About the event
Bring: A hat, a drink bottle, sun screen, own chairs, picnic rugs or morning tea / snacks
Support Costs: $30 (invoiced after the event) *First time participants will not have pay for their first event*
