About the event
This is a laughter program for people with Down syndrome running over three Saturdays.
Did you know our brains don’t know the difference between real and pretend laughter? When we laugh we release happy hormones from our built-in chemical factories and gently, we let go of our stress, to replace it with relaxation and a genuine sense of wellbeing. So come and join in with Tracy’s laughter workshop, you are guaranteed to leave feeling happier 😊
Participants will gain knowledge about:
- Some gentle breathing exercises
- Some sitting stretches and laughter exercises
- And you will finish the session off with a soothing meditation.
Tea and coffee will be provided at each session.
Please note – the dates are not consecutive Saturdays so be sure to mark them in your diary.
