Down Syndrome New South Wales invites you to take part in “Lots of Socks” 2021
The aim of Lots of Socks day is to raise awareness of Down syndrome as well as raise funds for Down Syndrome NSW. It is a day that can promote discussion about the acceptance of all our differences as what makes us fantastic as an individual.
What can you do to be part of the fun?
Chose a day in March (close to the 21st if you can). Ask your school. workplace, community group, family or friends to wear brightly coloured socks on the day and bring in a gold coin donation for Down Syndrome NSW.
On the day, wear your socks, take lots of pictures and share with us and the world by using the hashtag #lotsofsocks.
Down Syndrome NSW will support your event by providing you with a Lots of Socks information and education pack which will provide you with all the information you need to run an event.

Event poster – to promote the date/time/location of your event (Note: this is an editable PDF so you can type your details directly onto the poster before printing)
Supporter poster – to promote your general support
DIY donation box/jar – make it easy to collect any donations from your event. Simply print the label and attach to your own box, jar or tin tin.
Schools/pre-schools/daycare centers/community groups – sample letter to send to parents or for school newsletter
