About the event

This is a six week program for adults with Down syndrome focussing on building resilience, confidence and strength around our mental health.

The program will be lead by Debbie Mole, a qualified Mental Health Nurse with 30 years of experience in Disability and Mental Health. Debbie has a background in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment and Trauma.

Participants will gain knowledge about:

  • What is mental health
  • Ways to create good mental health
  • Recognising signs and symptoms of when their mental health is struggling
  • Improved coping skills

Debbie Mole, Mental Health Nurse

Debbie Mole is a qualified Mental Health Nurse with 30 years of experience in Disability and Mental Health. Debbie has a background in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment and Trauma.
