Presenters

Keziah Glenane, Advisory Network Member, DSV

Keziah Glenane: Kez is passionate about being able to meet up with groups of friends and provide a voice for her community. Kez would like to help people with Down syndrome to get a paid job in the community and live independently.

Kez says:

‘Community participation is important because when you are out in the community you have friends, they give you the feeling of heart-warming and understand how you feel. It’s good to explore things and get out of the house and this helps you not to think about stressful things’.

Kez will be facilitating the Community Participation Workshop alongside Zoe Shearer.

Matt O’Neil, Advisory Network Chair, DSV

Matt is passionate about his community and raising awareness about Down syndrome. He is very excited to be the Chair of the Down Syndrome Advisory Network Victoria (DSANVic).

Matt says:

“Making my own decisions is important for me to control my life. It is about what is important to me and what I want to have in life and what I want to do. Making decisions is putting things into action.”

Matt will be facilitating the Decision Making Workshop alongside Zoe Shearer.

Zoe Shearer, Health Project Manager, DSV

Zoe has worked in the not-for-profit sector for the last 16 years, delivering projects in a wide range of sectors in workforce capacity building.
