Communications Manager position

Down Syndrome Australia is seeking an experienced, organised professional to take on the role of National Communications Manager. This position will be responsible for the delivery of a project focused on the development of a national information web-portal for families and people with Down syndrome.  The Communications Manager will be responsible for consultation with stakeholders, overseeing the development of the information portal, evaluation, reporting and developing a communications strategy. The Communications Manager will have responsibility for the development and delivery of overall communication strategies and initiatives for Down Syndrome Australia.

This is a rewarding role for a person with demonstrated expertise in Communications, the preparation and delivery of websites, and who has a strong understanding of current issues in the disability sector.  Experience in delivering similar projects will be beneficial.
