World Down Syndrome Day 2020
Notice: We've had to cancel our event on 21st March this year. Instead we're hosting videos and messages from our supporters and community online. Join our virtual celebration of World Down Syndrome Day 2020 online on 21st March 2020.
The international theme for World Down Syndrome Day 2020 is We Decide.
People with Down syndrome have the right to make decisions about their lives and to be included in all aspects of the community.
Claire Mitchell, DSAN member joined campaign curator Leticia Hodson to decide the direction and focus of this year's theme. Her story launches the campaign.
Inclusion benefits us all
Inclusion is a human right that benefits the whole community.
This year we share stories about those times when the inclusion of a person with Down syndrome meant that positive changes were made to schools, workplaces, community events and families and where everyone learns something they didn't know before.
