Fundraising Committee:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for passionate volunteers to help plan and organise fundraising events for DST. Your time will make a big impact. No experience required just a willingness to help and make a difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camp Committee:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’d like to be involved in the organisation and running of camp we’d love to have you on our Camp Committee. The camp committee meets every other month online and welcomes all contributions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Members:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down Syndrome Tasmania is seeking expressions of interest for General Board members; areas of expertise being sought include fundraising, governance, accounting, legal, advocacy, marketing and communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DST is a grassroots organisation with limited paid staff which relies significantly on the efforts of volunteers. There is an expectation that Board members will be actively involved in the work of the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board members need to be collaborative with well-developed people skills and an ability to work well within a team. Connection to the Down syndrome community through lived experience as a person with Down syndrome, carer, parent or other family member or through strong professional links to the Down syndrome community is preferred. All Board positions are voluntary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
