She works as a receptionist at a disability support provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kath has lived independently for many years. She loves to paint and is quite the artist! She teaches art classes to adults with Down syndrome once a month. Kath is also an experienced public speaker. In 2025 she spoke at an event with over 600 people in attendance. You may even have read some of his reports in our monthly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downsyndrome.org.au\/vic\/news-and-events\/down-syndrome-victoria-newsletters-2\/\">DNews<\/a> and his occasional articles on our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.downsyndrome.org.au\/vic\/news-and-events\/news\/\"> News page<\/a> about DSV events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His dream is to help disadvantaged people in the community. Colby believes that his experience as a neurodiverse person gives him a unique insider perspective into the world and how people of neurodiverse backgrounds fit into society. Matt works for DSV chairing our advisory network. Matt is also involved in other project opportunities that present throughout the year at DSV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About his position Matt said,&nbsp;<em>&#8220;[To] work with DSV is to show what I am about, it is a part of my life of living with a disability. Jack has a Cert III in Hospitality and he juggles a very busy schedule of supports, activities and 4 different jobs, including working at a restaurant and as a Compliance Officer and Office Assistant. Jack is also a staff member of DSV&#8217;s Advisory Network. He is thrilled to also represent Victoria as part of the Down Syndrome Australia Advisory Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jack has a passion for performing and loves to dance.&nbsp; You may have spotted him in a Coles commercial!
