She also has experience teaching socially disadvantaged children with Berry Street. Paula has post graduate qualifications in Psychology, having completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychology with Monash University. Her career has spanned 25 years as an education consultant, teacher and school leader in both primary and secondary school settings in Melbourne and the Greater Bendigo region. She joined Down Syndrome Victoria in 2026 and brings a passion for supporting teachers and ensuring all students succeed in the classroom and achieve their goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top size-thumbnail is-style-circle-mask\" style=\"grid-template-columns:30% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"725\" src=\"https:\/\/www.downsyndrome.org.au\/vic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2026\/02\/Lyndsey-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4370 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education Consultant (Regional)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lynsey Kennedy-Wood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynsey is an experienced educator with 17 years in the state school system and she is a doctoral candidate at QUT specialising in inclusive education. She is passionate about ensuring students with disability access and participate in year-level curriculum alongside their peers through evidence-based, strengths-based practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her previous role with Down Syndrome Queensland, she coordinated state conferences and professional learning events, bringing together educators, families and advocates to strengthen inclusive practice. She is committed to promoting inclusion, empowering individuals and maximising learning outcomes.
