Art is expression and, for people with Down syndrome who may not find words easy to use, art can also create a bridge for communication. This issue looks at the many ways people with Down syndrome are involved in the arts and the innate talents people bring to their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For artists like Digby Webster, Naomi Lake, Josie Webster art is a potential source of income as they create fantastic works for sale. For other artists like Alex Procopis and Joe Surawski, music opens a window into their world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also music therapy, the representation of Down syndrome in recent movies plus news from around the country. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
