It offers phone counselling to carers aged 18 and over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caring for someone can sometimes feel stressful, upsetting, or overwhelming. During tough times, Carer Gateway\u2019s trained counsellors can talk with you one-on-one. They listen to how you are feeling and help you talk about your caring role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free phone counselling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confidential support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compassionate professional counsellors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No referral needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Out-of-hours appointments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To access support, call 1800 422 737 and press Option 2, weekdays 8am to 6pm across Australia. Or request a call back on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/counselling.carergateway.gov.au\/s\">https:\/\/counselling.carergateway.gov.au\/s<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kids Helpline<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids Helpline is Australia\u2019s only free (even from a mobile), confidential 24\/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged five to 25.
