In the print version of the December issue, we featured the fantastic story of the very talented Josie Webster who is proficient at a range of different arts including landscape painting, resin flow art, and drumming. The article discussed the difficulty in breaking through to make a living from art when you can’t be your own PR person because the spoken language isn’t your preferred form of communication.

Julie spoke of Josie’s awesome ability on the drums so check out this music video that she recorded with her band.

Josie has been featured in the latest film by Heart & Sold.

Artists in Lockdown was produced in collaboration with filmmaker Chris Kenward, exploring the lives of fifteen artists with Down syndrome from seven countries, examining how this global pandemic has affected their work. It tells their stories of lockdown, how they have adapted their practices and how they continue to find a voice and sanctuary through their art.
