In the print version of the journal, Hilary Harper form ABC’s Radio National discusses how Down syndrome is represented on the big screen following the release of two feature films in Australia. Ride Like a Girl was a box office smash and featured Steve Payne as himself and Gryffin Morrison playing his younger self. Kairos is a gritty independent feature film that cast Chris Bunton in a leading role and featured other characters with Down syndrome in supporting roles.
