The early years

The March 2017 issue brings you a variety of stories focusing on young children with Down syndrome including a terrific insight into how to teach functional mathematics to learners with Down syndrome.

We also met some of the staff from the local state and territory organisations to get an idea of how parent support is delivered on the ground.

Other articles included a personal story of congenital heart disease and a take on those ‘well-meaning’ comments that make us cringe.
