Fundraising and raising awareness for the Down syndrome community

The Scrapheap Adventure Ride is a unique fundraising event. Motorbike enthusiasts from across Australia buy a bike for $1,000 or less, upgrade it and take it on an adventure through the Australian outback.

The event is coordinated pro-bono by Perry Gilsenan for DSA. Riders raise funds and awareness to support people with Down syndrome, especially in regional, rural and remote areas.
