Down Syndrome Community South Australia (DS Community SA) provides family support, resources and events for people with Down syndrome, their families and community across South Australia.
The new association, DS Community SA was recently incorporated, and is supported by Down Syndrome WA and work collaboratively with Down Syndrome Australia to ensure it’s voice is heard at a national level.
Louise Taheny Employment Coordinator and and Jennifer McCullough Family Support Officer are the South Australia based team and they can be contacted on 0466 076 895 or infosa@downsyndrome.org.au. Their work days are Thursday and Fridays from 9am – 3pm. Staff from the Down Syndrome WA Team answer calls on Monday to Thursday from 8.30am – 4pm (WA time).
