Strategic Plan

Our strategic plan is reviewed by our board and members every three years. Our current focus is:

• Drive quality of life: Highlight systemic injustices and drive reform through systemic advocacy based on the UNCRPD.
• Strengthen the Down syndrome community: Strengthen the Down syndrome community by providing information, support for self-advocacy, and capacity building opportunities.
• Lead change in community attitudes: Drive awareness, and inclusion through community awareness campaigns and joint initiatives with allies.
• Build capacity and collaboration among members: Share resources, develop partnerships and support professional practice development.
