Down Syndrome WA Advisory Network – DSWAAN
Commenced in 2024 bringing together 9 Self Advocates.

The group is participating in a leadership program, developing their skills as advocates and learning about meeting procedures and communication.

How can you engage?
Government ministers and policy advisors, advisory groups, Access and Inclusion committee and other interested parties such as the education sector, tertiary institutions can request a presentation from the DSWAAN members.

DSWAAN members will be able to give presentations, sit as representatives on working groups and committees and provide personal reflections on living with Down syndrome in a range of topics, in particular, Health, Education, and …….

Is there a fee?
There is a fee to engage a DSWAAN advocate, because they are paid for their advocacy time.
You will be provided a quote upon request
