Donations

DSWA is a Not for Profit, Charitable organisation. Our association runs programs and activities that are funded by a range of grant programs. We receive no operational funding, covering all costs such as administration wages, lease, outgoing, stationary, furniture, equipment such as computers from donations, fundraising and any surplus raised from fee for service work.

DSWA runs a number of unfunded programs such as Aging, Dementia and Down Syndrome Regression Disorder. We also only provide Teenage and Adult social groups through NDIS services.

All donations are deeply appreciated and essential to our ongoing sustainability. We do not charge membership fees, to ensure that no member is disadvantaged due to financial hardship, however we do ask members to support the association financially where they can by donation.

Donations are always appreciated at our MyCause site – https://wa.fundraise.downsyndrome.org.au/ or contact us to organise a bank transfer – admin@downsyndromewa.org.au.

EOFY Donations

Are you getting ready for EOFY? Preparing your tax deductions?

You can make a financial year donation to DSWA and help us continue to support people with Down syndrome and their families. Donations from $2 are tax deductible. Many services we offer are not funded programs. Everyday, we provide support and information to the community, new members, parents, participants and many other groups, which requires the support and generosity of the WA community. Make a donation today and help us support a life of possibility.
