DSWA is a wonderful place to work. We are a committed team, dedicated to serving the needs of our members. Remuneration is not the first priority for DSWA staff. This is a passionate and warm team who’s first priority is our members.

Most staff work on fixed term contracts in line with funding arrangements. Core roles are advertised to the membership first, and then using social media and external agencies if required.

Support Roles: We encourage support applications, which require a minimum of a Cover letter and Resume.
Before applying it is advisable that you refer to the following possible position descriptions and tailor your application to the role.

Employment Mentor: 1:1 mentoring and coaching a member in open employment to support them to attain independence in the workplace.

Program Support Workers – Supporting social programs are generally ratio’s of 1:2 or 1:3
