Voice Journal
Voice, the journal of Down Syndrome Australia, is a high-quality print journal published three times a year. It is full of news, information and stories from the Down syndrome community.
You can stay up-to-date with what is happening around the country and hear from experts across a variety of fields, but most importantly, you will read stories from people with Down syndrome about the issues that are important to them. Find out more about Voice on the dedicated Voice website
Articles
Each issue of Voice has a theme so that we can fully explore issues important to people with Down syndrome including current research, new innovations, and book and product reviews.
While families make up the bulk of our readership, the content is important and relevant to the wider community, particularly community groups, health and education professionals, and potential employers.
A main focus of Voice is to provide opportunities for people with Down syndrome to tell their own stories in their own way. We publish stories in a variety of formats including hand-written submissions, interviews, dictations and video submissions on our website. If you have something to say, we will help you say it.
