Volunteer at DSWA

Volunteering is a rewarding and life affirming past time.    We value the part that volunteers play at our events and their involvement in our programs. Volunteers help build skills and confidence in people with Down syndrome they connect with in a natural and inclusive way and share their friendship and enthusiasm.

At DSWA we have a range of volunteering opportunities. which you can participate in.

Events:  Each year we run large events that require volunteer support such as our Gala, World Down Syndrome Day and Annual StepUP for Down Syndrome day.

Programs:  We have programs that operate weekly and monthly and volunteers are welcomed at all programs across the following age groups.   Playgroup 0-5  Kids Club 6-11, Friends for Life 12-17 and Adults over 18.

Admin Support:  There are often a range of administrative and support functions that we would welcome volunteers to support.  Contact us for what is happening now!

Project Support:  DSWA run a range of projects which have volunteering opportunities.  Contact us (admin@downsyndromewa.org.au) for what is happening now!

All volunteers must have a National Police Clearance and if working with children will require a WWC check.
