Education Support for Families
Down Syndrome Western Australia (DSWA) offers education support to parents and families of children or teens with Down syndrome.
We provide information, resources and strategies at any stage of a child’s school life. Our staff can talk to your child’s teacher or pass on information for them, if this is likely to be of help.

DSWA host an annual professional learning day for teachers, educational assistants, and school administrators, usually in February of each year. It is advertised on our social media and our monthly e-news. We can also provide on demand and custom training sessions for education staff.
