About the event

As some people get older, they can can get sick with dementia.

Dementia is when a person’s brain gets sick. It can make it hard to remember things and think clearly.

Come and learn with us about what you need to do to keep living well as you get older.

In this workshop we will help you make a goal about staying healthy as you get older.

You can bring a support worker with you to the workshop if you like.

You will learn about:

  • what dementia is
  • what dementia looks like
  • what you can do to try and stop dementia
  • some games that are good for your brain.

We are also offering this workshop in-person in North Melbourne on Saturday 9 May.
