About the event

Join us for an engaging webinar and hear from Down Syndrome Australia’s Digital Champions Michael and Ben as they share their experiences of building digital skills and confidence.

Through real-life examples, they’ll explain what scams are and what’s safe and appropriate to share on social media.

Participants will gain knowledge about:

  • what a scam is
  • where scams can happen online
  • recognising common warning signs of a scam
  • what to do if something doesn’t feel right
  • simple, practical ways to stay safe online and why it matters.

This session is for adults with Down syndrome. Parents, carers, family members and support workers are also welcome.
