Time: 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm (VIC)
Location
This is an online event.
About the event
Gift yourself some time and space for self-care, creativity and mindful flow. Plus, a lot of fun! The focus of the session will be on celebrating you and your caring, and the joy of connecting with your creative self.
Lisa will guide you to create a mandala-like positive association drawing, inviting you to select a centre motif of something that brings you a memory or a feeling which is fond, safe or cozy. This can be an object, an animal or a symbol.
You can follow along or you can make it up as you go, it’s up to you! Every carer who registers will receive an ‘inspiration pack’ in the mail with example motifs and patterns to draw on.
For the event, you will need:
- a drink to sip
- something that makes you feel nurtured, nourished and celebrated
- a pencil, eraser and sharpener
- paper to draw on
- coloured pencils, markers, crayons or paints (optional).
This session is open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay or chronic medical conditions.
This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of Carers Victoria.
