DSWA – Special Olympics Update from Tristan

My name is Tristan, I’m 16 years old, and I recently competed in my first Special Olympics National Games in ten pin bowling in Melbourne. It was an amazing experience, especially as it was my first time flying and staying in a hotel with my team!

I loved meeting new people, making friends, and having fun with my teammates. I was so excited and proud to win three medals, one gold and two silver! I’m proud of myself and can’t wait for more exciting opportunities.
