Meet NDIS Partners and Q&A

About this workshop

In this free session learn more about the LAC program, including team roles, participant pathways, and what to expect at each stage, while also having the opportunity to connect one-on-one with the team and ask questions tailored to the person you care for and their needs within the scheme.

This session also provides a chance for carers to connect with other carers and take time for themselves.

Free morning tea and lunch provided.

Participants will gain:

  • Clear understanding of the LAC program: Gain confidence in how the NDIS works, including roles, responsibilities, and how Local Area Coordinators support participants.
  • Confidence navigating participant pathways: Understand each stage of the NDIS journey—access, planning, implementation, and review—so you can better support the person you care for.
  • Personalised guidance for individual needs: Access one-on-one conversations with NDIS partners to ask tailored questions and get practical, relevant advice.
  • Stronger peer connection and wellbeing: Build connections with other carers, share experiences, and take valuable time to recharge in a supportive environment.
