About the event
This is the first in a series of Housing workshops that DSV will hold over the coming months. Each month there will be a different focus with some guest speakers. Keep an eye out for further workshops in the series.
Our first workshop will be presented by DSV Program Director Janice Chan, talking about her family’s journey in supporting son, Lincoln, to move out of home. This has been guided by their vision for an inclusive and typical life for Lincoln.
Participants will gain knowledge about:
- Why is it important to have a Vision
- Planning – parent experience
- Trial run
- Safeguards
