Join us for the inaugural World Down Syndrome Day Breakfast on 21 March 2025, a special event to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and foster meaningful connections.
This unique gathering brings together community members, business leaders, and government representatives for a morning of networking, a sit-down breakfast, and an engaging panel discussion. Centered on the theme “Improving Our Support Systems.”
This breakfast event features our keynote speaker, Miss Olivia Hargroder, and her mother, Kerry Read, who will share Olivia’s journey from low expectations to graduating from NIDA’s Young Actors Studio and securing leading roles across Australian stage, film, and TV. In addition to this, we will explore the World Down Syndrome Day theme further through our panel discussion, featuring Health Minister Tim Nicholls MP, CEO of Queenslanders with Disabilities Michelle Moss, and other key stakeholders offering invaluable insights and perspectives.
