About the event
DSV has an exciting new project – FitSkills: Translating Research into Action.
The FitSkills program is an evidence-based physical activity program where people with a disability exercise over a 12-week period with a mentor/volunteer in their local gym. For this project DSV will develop and document the FitSkills service offering, so that learnings can be shared with the broader disability sector.
We are looking for family members who have had involvement in the FitSkills program previously, to join our Family co-design session. In this session we will explore what worked, what didn’t work and areas of improvement to the FitSkills program.
We will reimburse those who attend with Gift Cards.
If you can’t make the consultation session but would still like to be involved please contact Debby and let her know, we can email you a set of questions with written replies.
We are also holding a separate co-design session for people with Down syndrome.
