About the event

This workshop is designed for families with autistic children with restricted diet or eating. However, the principles of responsive feeding will apply across other disabilities, so any family dealing with eating issues is welcome.

Join us for an engaging 1.5-hour live online workshop designed to support parents navigating mealtime challenges with their child.

This session will:

  • provide practical, neurodiverse-affirming strategies rooted in responsive feeding to help reduce mealtime stress
  • expand food acceptance
  • foster a positive eating environment.

Together, we’ll explore the sensory, physical and behavioural factors that contribute to fussy eating, and equip you with the tools to create more harmonious and enjoyable mealtimes.

Nicole Wu, Speech and Feeding Therapist

Nicole Wu is a Speech Pathologist and Feeding Therapist with over two decades of experience helping children overcome complex feeding and communication challenges. As co-founder of Learn to Eat. Love to Eat., she is passionate about transforming mealtime struggles using a responsive, neurodiverse-affirming approach. Her personal journey as a mother deepened her passion for supporting families, offering practical, research-backed strategies to create positive mealtime experiences. Through her private practice, NW Speech, Nicole provides individualized support, helping parents and professionals navigate the complexities of feeding with confidence and care.
