What is Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)?
Specialist Disability Accommodation, or SDA, is a type of housing for people with disabilities who need extra support. It helps people live safely and comfortably.
Who Can Use SDA?
People with Down Syndrome can use SDA if they:
- Need help with daily life, like eating, dressing, or moving around
- Have high support needs
What Are SDA Homes Like?
SDA homes are built with special features to make life easier, for example:
- Safety equipment
- Extra space for helpers
- Can offer shared or private living options
