The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides essential supports that ensure safety, independence and inclusion for people with disability.
People with disability must be at the centre of the NDIS. We advocate for a fair NDIS where the needs of people with Down syndrome and people with intellectual disability caused by chromosomal variations are met and represented.
Find out more about the Down Syndrome Australia Consortium’s NDIS work. We advocate on behalf of the community of people with Down syndrome, their families, and supporters.
