About the event
StepUP! is a fundraising and awareness campaign held during Down Syndrome Awareness Month every October. We’re delighted to invite you to celebrate the significant contributions people with Down syndrome make to our communities.
This year DSV will be holding our annual Melbourne StepUP! event at Princes Park, Carlton North on Sunday 18 October, as well as supporting the community in Geelong to celebrate with their very own StepUP! event on Sunday 4 October at Eastern Beach Reserve.
At both events there are options to walk a short loop in recognition of people with Down syndrome, not to mention plenty of games, fun, food, live music, face-painting, community connection and more! Bring a picnic rug and enjoy a day filled with family friendly activities and entertainment.
