Sarah strikes a pose

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am five. I love meeting people and being the centre of attention so when Down Syndrome Victoria mentioned on Facebook that a casting agency were looking for kids with Down syndrome, my mum thought it worth following up.

I met Juliette and Sandra from Casting Kids. They were friendly and took a few photos of me with their mobile phone and asked my mum if they could create a profile page for me on their website. About a month later I was asked to do a photoshoot for Kmart. It was fun! I really like the team working there, they are very friendly and we have heaps of fun.

I get my hair done and sometimes they put moisturiser on my face. Then I get to wear cool clothes and sometimes get something to play with. Most of the work I’ve been getting has been for Kmart except for two I recently did for Target. A lot of my mum’s friends and the community we live in have recognised me in the catalogues. I am proud of what I’ve done. It is sometimes hard work and I get tired especially when they take more than one photo in a session.
