Kirkman by Melissa Kirkman is a business where I get to share my artistic creations with the world.
I have always loved to paint and this business gives me the opportunity to digitally print my unique, original paintings onto garments and sell them to anyone who wants to buy them.
My business is awesome because all of my designs are quirky, fun and unisex.

How my business got started
During the first Covid 19 lockdown I was feeling really bored at home and started thinking about what I can do to utilise my passion for painting in the future. My mum helped me come up with the idea for my business and I received support from Rapid Enterprise Development to get my concept off of the ground.
I hope that one day I can have my own factory and print not just tshirts, but all types of clothes and accessories in different colours and designs.
I have learned that running a business is hard work and takes a lot of time and commitment.
