Meet Rebecca, MyTime Play Leader at Carrum Downs and Cranbourne.
Rebecca met Madison, MyTime’s Senior Program Manager, at their mothers’ group a couple of years ago. At the time, Rebecca was feeling unsure about returning to work after maternity leave until Madison shared information about the MyTime program.
With over five years’ experience in childcare and a strong belief that every child deserves an equal opportunity, Rebecca immediately felt that MyTime was a perfect fit, and from there her journey as a Play Leader began at Carrum Downs and Cranbourne.
Rebecca believes that one of the most rewarding parts of MyTime is seeing children’s confidence grow. She feels it is incredibly special to watch them become comfortable and begin to play more independently, building their skills while feeling safe and supported.
Outside of MyTime, Rebecca is busy making memories with her young family, often chasing waterfalls or building sandcastles at the beach whenever she can.
Rebecca shares, “If you are thinking about joining MyTime, come along and enjoy some time for yourself while I keep your young ones engaged, supported and entertained in a safe and welcoming environment.”
This winter, MyTime groups will be focusing on activities that work whatever the weather, including arts and crafts, music and movement, and sensory play. MyTime groups always take the children’s interests into account and aim to incorporate these into sessions so every child feels included and excited to participate.

- Guest speaker from Mallis Legal about wills and estates, plus a special morning tea on Monday 20 July at Carrum Downs.
- Bunnings DIY craft workshop on Monday 27 July at Carrum Downs.
- Special self-care activity on Wednesday 2 September at Cranbourne.
