Presenter

Nives Zerafa, Continence Health Australia

Nives is the coordinator for access and information in the Health Promotion team at Continence Health Australia. Having worked in multiple peak bodies such as Carers Australia and Continence Health Australia, and for the Australian Bureau of Statistics in publication development, she has extensive experience in managing, developing, and reviewing resources for consumers. Her passion lies in working with marginalised communities to ensure appropriate health information is available to them. She is working to improve health literacy and accessibility and introduce dignity and empathy in the resources to better engage with communities. One of her current projects is to review and develop resources on toilet independence.

Please note: The presenter is not a nurse continence specialist. If you want individualised advice on continence, please call the National Continence Helpline on 1800 33 00 66 and speak to a nurse continence specialist. You can find more information at their website: https://www.continence.org.au/
