Step Up at the DSQ Townsville Golf Day

Down Syndrome Queensland (DSQ) works for a better quality of life for people with intellectual disability, including Down syndrome, by supporting and strengthening families and promoting positive and realistic images of people with intellectual disabilities.

Our aim is to provide lifelong programs and support spanning:

Prenatal (Non-directive Prenatal Support);

Primary School (Assisting parents and teachers);

Birth – Early Years (Music Therapy, Playgroup, New Parent Support);

Secondary School (Personal Development Camps, Skills for Employment); and

Adults (Continued Education Programs and Skills for Independence).

Down Syndrome Queensland ‘s work is made possible through grants, sponsorships, donations and fundraising. Organisations like DSQ can’t exist without a team of passionate supporters through our great state. Our Townsville group of amazing volunteer supporters assist DSQ to raise funds for local community support and host events to bring families together.
