About the event
Join us in Geelong to learn about employment options for people with Down syndrome and how to access these options, including any eligibility requirements.
You will learn about:
- Australian disability enterprises (ADEs)
- customised employment services
- disability employment services (DES)
- DSV’s Employment Connections program
- work experience and volunteering
- employment income impact on Disability Support Pension payments and how to remain eligible.
We will share what each of these options are, eligibility and how to find them.
Adults with Down syndrome aged 16 years and over, and their families and carers, from the Geelong region are invited to attend.
This information session will be presented by DSV’s Employment Connections Manager Bree Mills.
Light refreshments will be provided.
