This professional development day is for any educator, including classroom teachers at any level, specialist teachers, leadership, and support staff.

Join us for the first South Australian Education and Inclusion event, tailored for educators wanting to explore ways to create classrooms where every student, including students with Down syndrome, thrive.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of what inclusion is and the principles that underpin inclusive education.
  • Learn practical strategies and tools for teaching students with Down syndrome.
  • Discover ways to foster positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.
  • Explore ways to adjust the curriculum and provide accommodations for students with Down syndrome.

Please see our parent event if you are a family member wanting to know more about inclusion for your child with Down syndrome.

A more detailed program will be released early in 2024.
