About the webinar
Future planning – failing to plan is a plan to fail!
Planning for the future means thinking ahead of what may happen, what will happen and what could possibly go wrong – and then create strategies to deal with as much of that as possible!
In this presentation, our solicitor will gently discuss the difficult, but necessary, topics of unavoidable death and possible incapacity, in plain English and simple terms.
We will consider questions like:
· How can I care for my dependants when I am too old or frail to look after them?
· Who can mind the finances and inheritance of my adult child with an intellectual disability?
· What happens to me if I am unable to handle my own financial affairs?
· What is an Enduring Power of Attorney and a Will?
· What’s QCAT and guardianship?
· Is a Special Disability Trust a good solution for my family?
There will also be time for audience members to ask questions of our solicitor.
Please make sure to register to secure your place! Or you can send us an email at support@dsidq.org.au
