About the event
Things at school don’t always go smoothly, even when you’re doing your best.
This workshop from Belongside Families gives you practical strategies to speak up confidently for your child if challenges come up.
You will learn how to:
- prepare for meetings
- work through tricky conversations
- keep the focus on what’s best for your child.
This session is open to parents and carers of children up to 18 years of age with disability, developmental delay or chronic medical conditions.

Eliza Hoare
Eliza from Belongside Families is an AuDHD mum of three Autistic children. What began as a search for support for her family grew into a deep passion for helping others. She now shares her lived experience by building resources and creating spaces for other parents on a similar journey.
