About the event
Join us for an online information session about the NDIS Early Years Approach. This is most suitable for families of children with Down syndrome under the age of 9, and ideal for families new to the NDIS.
Participants will gain knowledge about:
- what the Early Years Approach is
- what to expect and how to prepare for a plan meeting
- what to consider and how to plan for review
- any changes occurring in the early years/NDIS area.
You will also be able to share ideas and experiences about successful outcomes and challenges.

Sonia Bonadio
Sonia is a social worker and a parent of a child with Down syndrome. She has worked with services in the disability sector, mental health and community based prenatal services. In 2016 Sonia worked as a MyTime Facilitator for DSV and thoroughly enjoyed her time facilitating the group, providing her with a great opportunity to gain understanding and knowledge in many areas relating to families who have or who are caring for children who have Down syndrome.
