About the event
Join us at our morning tea for families and caregivers of babies and young children aged 0 to 2 with Down syndrome. The session will be online so you can join us from anywhere in Victoria.
Participants will gain knowledge about:
- an introduction to Down syndrome, including information on what to expect when raising a child with Down syndrome, health, NDIS and more
- information about DSV supports and services
- a chance to meet other families, make some connections, share your experiences and maybe spark a new friendship or two.

Sonia Bonadio
Sonia is a social worker and a parent of a child with Down syndrome. She has worked in the role of Family Support at DSV since 2018 and in this time has developed an interest in learning how to best support families to navigate the NDIS and the health care sector so improve outcomes and to meet the needs of individuals and families.
