About the event

This MyTime interactive session will focus on understanding carer burn out and explore some of the strategies carers can use to promote self care.

All carers from within the MyTime and Down Syndrome Victoria communities are invited to attend.

You will learn about:

  • services and supports to assist with self-care
  • what carer burn out is
  • recognising the signs of carer burn out in yourself
  • strategies to promote self-care and prevent burn out.

Kim Repcak

Kim is a carer and educator at Carers Victoria. Kim has worked in the field of disability and health supporting carers for over 25 years. Kim combines her professional background in social work and education with her own personal experience as a carer to share valuable information and support to empower carers to access vital information and support to maximise their own health whilst performing their valuable caring role.
