Associate Professor Jasneek Chawla

Associate Professor Jasneek Chawla is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Specialist at Queensland Children’s Hospital and leads the Kids Sleep Research Group at the University of Queensland. She completed her PhD on sleep disorders in children with Down syndrome and now leads a major national research project to improve diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in children with neurodisability. Jas is President of the Australasian Sleep Association, the first paediatric specialist in this role, and a strong advocate for children with disability and chronic illness.
